General Motors is recalling 36,413 Chevrolet Impala police vehicles from model years 2008 to 2012. The problem is with the front lower control arm, which may fracture. THE NUMBER OF CARS produced in the UK rose last month. A total of 136,419 vehicles were manufactured in June 2014 - a 3.7% rise on the figure for the same month last year, the Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders (SMMT) said.
